If you haven't read this book you're missing out on an experience like none other..The way this book flows from character story to the next is genius you get he feel of the grity gangsta life through the eyes of every character in this book you feel the fear, love, hate, passion and eroticism in every word. I recommend this book to all adults who want to live that life vicariously without real danger and to those who live it for real.
I love this story! The sex scenes was HOT!!!!!!!! One of them made me Hot!!! Phew!!!! I love the twins they are dangerous and sexy! I love the relationship between Menelik and Mekeda! This was my first time reading this author book and it was a awesome read! Can’t wait for part 2! Great job Shaun!
In the novel, Skindeep by Shaun Sinclar, readers are introduced to African twins, Menelik, and Haile. Raised by a powerful man, their father has trained them in the art of the kill. Not really receptive to it, have them acting like a fish out of the water. When war comes to their area they flee to London. While in London, the boys receive education combined with what their father has instilled but this time in a different manner, honing their skills. After the death of their mother, they are adopted and brought to the Unite States.
Menelik and Haile are fresh on American soil land in some trouble where Haile meets Makeda. Makeda is Ethiopian-born, living in America, with big dreams of breaking out into the modeling world. Makeda meets Haile and they develop a friendship, even though her boyfriend, Born, is not feeling that at all. Haile is more laidback but shares his meeting of Makeda with Menelik. Menelik and Haile trade places,Menelik meets Makeda and the chemistry between them is boiling to the surface. Menelik challenges her boyfriend, Born, and from that their relationship grows. Menelik never reveals that he is a twin to Makeda.
Menelik and Makeda become a power couple. Makeda is gaining success in the modeling world and Menelik is quickly gaining ground in the underground world. He becomes something of a legend in the streets. These two start making moves and of course with success comes jealousy, hate, envy, and drama. Will they weather the storms brewing from their decisions? Will they be able to overcome the challenges?
Sinclair has a good storyline and there was definitely some thrilling moments. I rate this story 4 stars and look forward to more from the self-proclaimed gangsterotica author.
